Dear GE Digital Customer,

GE Digital appreciates and values your business. As part of our efforts to continuously improve our product offerings, from time-to-time it becomes necessary for us to obsolete certain products and/or service offerings. This notice is to inform you of the end of life (EOL) of Predix Machine. The replacement product for it is “Predix Edge.”

Predix Machine will reach end of life (EOL) on September 1, 2020 (Predix Machine version 17.2.5 and earlier). These versions are collectively called the "EOL Products" in the remainder of this document.

This notice applies to all existing and prior release versions for the EOL Products. After September 1, 2020, the EOL Products will no longer be available for purchase (i.e., "End-of- Sales"). Support for the EOL Products will continue for a limited time, as discussed below.

At this time, GE Digital expects to continue to support the EOL Products under your existing Acceleration Plan contract until July 1, 2021 (the “End-of-Support”). After this time, GE Digital may offer a separate extended support offering for the EOL Products until January 1, 2022 (“Extended Support Offering Date”). This extended support offering will be subject to GE Digital’s then current fee and is subject to the terms of GE Digital’s extended support plan. If further support is required after the Extended Support Offering Date, to the extent offered by GE Digital, customers may choose to enter a separate custom support agreement with GE Digital.

GE Digital encourages you to upgrade to the next generation edge platform: Predix Edge. GE Digital is offering a limited time, promotional discount on Predix Edge for the upgrades.

We understand this notice will require a conversation with your account team to develop an understanding that is specific to each customer. We aim to facilitate your transition in the most seamless way possible. Your account team will work with you to review suitable alternatives available in the company’s product portfolio.

Key dates and definitions regarding the EOL Products:

End-of-Sales: The date the product or version subject to EOL will be no longer available for purchase - September 1, 2020.

End of Ongoing Support: The date when extended support starts being available for a product or version - July 1, 2021.

End of Extended Support: The date when standardized support options are no longer available for the product or version subject to the EOL Notice. A custom support agreement will be required for support after this date - January 1, 2022.

EOL Date: The date when the product or version subject to EOL becomes obsolete.
Date - January 1, 2022.

This Notice only affects Predix Machine and does not apply to other products or services purchased from GE Digital, its affiliates or partners. This notice does not affect Predix Edge, which is the successor to Predix Machine.
