# What’s Happening:
This is to inform you that two of our PUBLIC SSL Certificate Authority (CA) certificates that are used for Predix applications/services HTTPS solutions (servers, web services, devices, applications, Edge solutions etc.), that are internet facing or are used to support external customers, will expire on May 30th, 2020. In response, we will be updating our applications/services with a new CA certificate on May 22, 2020.

During this maintenance between 05:00 PM PT and 09:00 PM PT on May 22, 2020, users might experience intermittent connectivity issues while accessing Predix applications/services.

# Who’s Affected:
Most of Predix users/clients will remain unaffected by this event due to existing mitigation steps already taken by our public certificate vendor. These would typically be Windows based systems and standard solutions as the new CAs have already been published for Windows & Mac users where CA information is dynamically updated automatically.

For a limited number of the Predix users/clients solutions that have more specialized certificate constructs and configurations, they may need to update the CA certificate on their end and further validation testing. (Please refer to user actions give below for further instructions)

# User Actions:
For most of the users, there won’t be any action/impact as highlighted above.

For a limited number of users/clients, if a system or application does not trust USERTrust RSA CA root, they will need to import this CA into their trust store.

You can download updated USERTrust RSA CA root using below link:
