As of Feb 16, 2018, for all new applications default cloud Foundry back end is Diego. Any new applications will be utilizing the Cloud Foundry Diego Architecture.
As there are old applications which are still on DEA, the application owners are responsible for migrating their applications from DEA to Diego backend architecture before Mar 2, 2018.

Applications using DEA after Mar 2, 2018, due to lack of action from application owner, will be migrated automatically by platform engineering team. However, platform engineering team will not be responsible for troubleshooting any issue on these applications, and that will still be responsibility of the application owner.
